Senator Manny Pacquiao Challenged Senate President Franklin Drilon to a Three-Round Fight!

We all know that Manny Pacquiao is one of the best athletes we have. He is a Filipino international boxer before he joined the politics and now currently serving as Senator of the Philippines. Last August 17, the much awaited 'debate' between a veteran senator and an athlete-turned-lawmaker on the senate floor happened.

Senator Manny Pacquiao challenged Senate President Franklin Drilon to a three-round fight in response to Drilon's request for Pacquiao to answer a question. According to the report, Drilon took the opportunity to ask newbie Senator Manny Pacquiao on the resolution honoring Olympic Silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz. During that day Diaz was in the Senate to receive her recognition.

"Madali lang yan", Pacquiao answered. "I will answer the question if he (Drilon) can survive 3 rounds (of boxing)", He continues to answer while drawing the laughter from the crowd.

Drilon later, revealed that he only wanted to ask if Senator Pacquiao can donate to Diaz an incentive in his own pocket. According to Pacquiao, he would give Diaz a cash incentive from his own pocket. But he'd rather kept the amount as a secret.
