What the Vets Pulled Out of this Poor Little Kitten's Nose Will Surely Make You Cringe!

Most of the time our pet, we usually treat as a family. Seeing them suffering is truly heartbreaking. This video of a poor kitten can breath easy after this gigantic insect was removed from its nose in the United States.

Nebraska Humane Society (NHS) is the only private charitable homes for unwanted pets. They warned the owners about an invasive parasite that can infects cat and dogs.

The NHS posted some video of the excruciating moment of how the veterinarians pulling a massive cuterebra from the nose of an infected stray cat that was struggling to breathe. The video shows doctors using tweezers to extract a squirming, slug-like larva from the cat’s swollen face.

According to them, Cuterebriasis is caused by a fly called Cuterebra, with the parasite infesting small mammals that spend time outdoors. These eggs use the body heat of the animal to allow the larva to hatch and burrow into an orifice or its skin.

Pet owners are urged to take infected animals to their local vet rather than trying to extract the parasite themselves.
